An innovative design designed to increase the productivity of smallholder farmers. This is a lightweight cultivator/tiller designed to create perfect tilth within the top two inches of raised bed by mixing in compost and fertilizer while chopping up the roots. For tilling 70 cm beds Innovative design based on commercially available power tool from STIHL MM56 Our design aims to improve on Tilther Kit from Johnny's Selected Seeds, at a lower cost.
Innovative design developed for the smallholder farmer based on commercially available power tool from STIHL MM56. Designed for building windrows of about 80 cm wide x 50 cm high. Windrows can be as long as there is land available. Our turner opens the door to enable composting at farm level, a major step towards appropriate technologies to enable the production of local organic inputs. A chipper or shredder can be used to complete the equipment.
